Gavin's journey to and at F.E. Moran is the embodiment of the company’s culture—hard work, continuous learning, and leadership built from experience. He didn’t start in a corporate office—he started as a local fire fighter.

When he joined F.E. Moran in 2009 he started in the field as an entry-level sprinkler inspector, working directly on fire protection systems, learning firsthand what it takes to build, maintain, and grow an industry-leading company.

His natural ability to solve problems, take initiative, and lead teams saw him quickly rise through the ranks. He spent years in project management, becoming the Service and Inspection Manager in Fire Protection, ensuring that mission-critical life safety systems operated at peak performance.

In 2017, he was promoted to Vice President, and as F.E. Moran expanded its mechanical services division, Gavin took on a new challenge in 2020—leading F. E. Moran Mechanical Services, a different business unit, where he spent the next three years overseeing operations, developing teams, and ensuring the company’s commitment to service excellence and reliability.

Today, as Chief Growth Officer and President, Gavin’s role extends beyond operations—he drives strategic expansion, sales, marketing, human resources, and talent development. His leadership approach is field-driven—he understands what it takes to do the job because he has experienced it himself. He ensures that F.E. Moran remains ahead in service, safety, and innovation for HVAC, Plumbing, and Industrial Fabrication while fostering a culture where leaders emerge through experience and hard work. Gavin’s leadership has not only fueled revenue growth but has also strengthened the company’s ability to integrate sales, marketing, and operations into a cohesive strategic vision. His commitment to mentorship ensures that F.E. Moran’s upcoming generation of leaders is prepared to meet the challenges of an evolving industry.

FAMILY AND ENJOYMENT OUTSIDE OF WORK

Staying active is a key part of my life. Whether it’s mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, water sports, or motorsports, I find therapy in a wide range of activities. From the mountains to cutting the grass, being active helps me stay grounded. Cooking and grilling are also passions of mine—there’s nothing better than a home-cooked meal shared with loved ones, especially with my wife, Amber.
