Keeping facilities safe, compliant, and productive.

We provide a comprehensive range of Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (ITM) services that keep fire protection systems in top operating condition. We cannot overstate the importance of regular, timely inspection and maintenance of all fire protection systems. Statistics show that if a fire erupts, it will be contained to the point of origin 94% of the time with the use of a sprinkler system. However, an improperly maintained system may not work optimally, and the facility may end up in the 6% range.

Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (ITM)

F.E. Moran Fire Alarms

An ongoing ITM plan, such as that offered by F.E. Moran, saves businesses time and money in the long run. Such a plan also provides the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your systems will protect your personnel and facility in case of a fire, while remaining in compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations and your insurance standards.

Our team of NICET II and III certified inspectors will perform inspections on a schedule specific to each system, whether that means monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. All inspections are conducted in accordance with applicable codes, your insurance needs and local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.

Full-spectrum ITM services for:

  • Wet-pipe sprinkler systems
  • Dry-pipe sprinkler systems
  • Deluge sprinkler systems
  • Pre-action sprinkler systems
  • Anti-freeze sprinkler systems
  • Water mist sprinkler systems
  • Foam fire sprinkler systems
  • Standpipes
  • Kitchen hood systems
  • Alarm/detection systems
  • Pumps, mains and hydrants

In addition, we train building owners and property managers on proper maintenance so they can keep their fire protection system working optimally between inspections. Here are a few tips:

  • Whenever possible, visually inspect fire sprinkler systems to ensure all components are intact. Remove hanging decorations and any paint that covers the sprinkler head.
  • Keep areas that contain water (wet-pipe sprinklers, valve rooms and fire pump enclosures) above 40˚F. Make sure windows and doors near these areas are properly closed during the winter.
  • Inspect all fire protection areas that have water to ensure that corrosion will not block the water flow when the sprinkler needs to activate.

Dedicated Account Management and Customer Portal

We provide 24/7/365 emergency repair service, access to local union sprinkler fitters, and dedicated account management and record-keeping. We provide each customer with a dedicated account manager who gets to know the ins and outs of your fire protection system, so you can trust us to protect your building as if it were our own.

Our customers have access to their relevant inspection and maintenance documents through our customer portal. There, you can view our after-service reports and inspection forms as well. After an inspection, the technician sends the customer a quote for each necessary repair, which can also be reviewed online via the portal.
